What is the I Care For Me Program?

With the generous support of #TakingITGlobal, the Government of Canada, Canada Service Corps, and the sprout ideas fellowship, ShEvalesco is excited to present the I Care for Me program!

The 2023 iteration included 3 pre-recorded and fully facilitated workshops on Assertive Communication, Boundary Setting, and Self-Care. They can be completed by youth individually, or in a group led by group leaders, with opportunities for group discussion and reflection. Thank you to the Sprout Ideas Fellowship funding, we are excited to offer this program free of charge until February, 2023.

These workshops are designed for youth aged 9-15, however, this programming is also suitable for youth aged 15-18. The duration of the three workshops are approximately 1-1.5 hours in total, depending on youth engagement in the activities, group discussions and personal reflections.

How to participate in the I Care for Me Program:

  1. Complete the I Care for Me registration form by clicking on the button below. Groups who are signing up only need to complete the form once for their group!

2. You will receive an email from our ShEvalesco team with the registration link to sign up. You will be prompted to create a free account through Thinkific.
