What is the Investing in YOUth Program?
SHEVALESCO IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF OUR NEW FINANCIAL LITERACY WEBINAR SERIES: INVESTING IN YOUTH!
The Investing in YOUth financial literacy webinar series program includes three pre-recorded and fully facilitated workshops. Each workshop is designed to be facilitated in-person with a group of youth. The program includes supplementary materials for hands-on activities, in addition to opportunities for group discussion and personal reflection.
Investing in YOUth has been generously sponsored by CIBC. Thanks to their support, we are excited to offer this program entirely free of charge until June 30, 2023.
These workshops are designed for youth aged 12-18. Each workshop is approximately 1.5-2 hours in duration and includes ‘cut points’ to divide up sessions into shorter duration workshops, designed to suit the diversity of needs for our community partners.

How to participate:
- Complete the Investing in YOUth registration form by clicking on the button below. Groups who are signing up only need to complete the form once for their group.
2. You will receive an email from our ShEvalesco team with the registration link to sign up. You will be prompted to create a free account through the Thinkific e-learning platform.
3. Complete the courses (there are three different workshops, each divided up into two subsections). You have the option to use the streaming versions or download the workshops ahead of time.
4. Fill out the feedback form by June 30, 2023 and receive your free crest (there is also a fillable completion certificate!). Please note: crests are provided while supplies last, so don’t delay!
